A devout muslim, Akanji, strives to have a male child not knowing that before his prayer can be answered, he has to forsake the Islamic religion and embrace the worship of Sango the god of Thunder. He keeps getting committed to his adopted religion but his faith shakes when all hopes is about to be lost.
