Bus carrying students crashes and bursts into flames

A school bus returning from a trip hit a pylon of a bridge and burst into flames, killing at least 16 people.

The bus according to reports was returning to Budapest from a school field trip in a mountain resort in France when the incident happened near Verona East on Friday.

Thirty-nine others were injured in the accident.

Authorities are said to be investigating the cause of the accident.
